Clove derives its name from the Latin clavus which means nail. It refers to the shape of the clove bud itself representing a nail. Just like a nail, the smell of clove oil is sharp & strong.
As one of the strongest scents we range, Clove can be used to clear the mind & bring clarity to any situation. It has been used in traditional medicine as an anti-microbial & pain reliever and also has uses as an aphrodisiac & warming stimulant.
Clove was also popular in ancient China for other reasons - believe it or not, in ancient China clove was chewed as a breath freshener!
Clove is also a powerful anti-oxidant, antiseptic & has traditionally been used to ease the symptoms of cold & flu.

Uses.
Bespoke: Use in a morning product to bring your day into focus. Use in evening products to spice up your world.
Vaporiser: Start with 6 to 8 drops.
Diffuser: Start with 6 to 8 drops.
Burner: Start with 6 to 8 drops.
Bath: Add 8 to 12 drops to your bath.
Shower: 3 or 4 drops in the corner of the shower.
Sauna: Add 6 to 8 drops to your ladle of water and pour over hot rocks.
Hands & feet: Add 2 to 4 drops to a bowl of warm water and soak.
On the go: Open the cap and inhale straight from the bottle or add a drop or two to your face mask.
