About.
An ancient herb of healing, purification & courage, Thyme originated in the Mediterranean & was widely used as far back as the ancient Egyptians.
All throughout history this famous herb has been used to purify, heal & safeguard.
The Egyptians believed in the purity of Thyme & used it as part of the mummification process to encourage spiritual passing.
The ancient Greeks used Thyme to assist sleep, purify places of worship & remove fears that may interrupt their dreams.
The Romans were famous for using Thyme to purify their baths & instil courage to their soldiers.
During the Middle Ages, Knights were frequently given bouquets that included Thyme by their Ladies in the belief that it would bring them bravery & protection.
Thyme is naturally high in thymol, which has strong antimicrobial, antibacterial & antifungal benefits. Thyme was popular in medicine before modern antibiotics & is still used in mouthwashes & antiseptics today.
Modern medicine is still experimenting with Thyme & Thymol as cures & preventatives for current ailments.

Red Thyme is the result of the first distillation of the thyme plant. As it is more concentrated, we feel it's the more aromatic & beneficial version of the essential oil. White Thyme or standard Thyme oil is the result of a second round of distillation that reduces the intensity of the compounds contained in the oil. Red Thyme has a powerful middle note that is comforting, herby & medicinal.

Uses.
Bespoke: Use is daytime lotions, soaps & hair products to sharpen the mind. Use in evening cremes, lotions, soaps & hair products to give you an extra gear.
Vaporiser: Start with 6 to 8 drops.
Diffuser: Start with 6 to 8 drops.
Burner: Start with 6 to 8 drops.
Bath: Add 8 to 12 drops to your bath.
Shower: 3 or 4 drops in the corner of the shower.
Sauna: Add 6 to 8 drops to your ladle of water and pour over hot rocks.
Hands & feet: Add 2 to 4 drops to a bowl of warm water and soak.
On the go: Open the cap and inhale straight from the bottle or add a drop or two to your face mask.
Bed: Add a couple of drops to your pillow.
